The Hiawassee Baptist Association is collecting the following items for the
Georgia Baptist Children’s Homes:
Cereal (sweet), Pop Tarts, Instant Grits & Oatmeal,
Individual Snack Crackers & Chips, Fruit Drink packages,
Plastic Cups, and Storage/Freezer Bags (quart & gallon size).
Gift Cards are also appreciated!
Drop your donations off in the collection bins in the Family Life Center, Drive Thru or Church Office by September 22nd.

MISSION GEORGIA OFFERING | September
Over 13,000 children are in foster care in Georgia. So far in 2021 alone, over 417 human trafficking cases have been reported in Georgia, some likely in your county. These numbers are your neighbors. In response, Mission Georgia seeks to provide gospel-centered care to every Georgia community through the local church. We are invited to be part of the solution as well.
Donations will be accepted during the month of September for this worthy cause. Look for the envelopes in the pew pockets or designate Mission Georgia in your online giving. Our 2021 Offering Goal is $10,000.

DEACON ORDINATION 9/12
There will be a special Deacon Ordination service for our new deacons and their wives, this Sunday evening, Sept. 12th, at 6:00pm in the Worship Center. Mark your calendars to come out and support them!

THRIVE MOMS | 9/21
Come spend time with other moms who can relate and support you! We meet on the third Tuesday of each month during the school year, 6:00 - 7:30 pm, in The Lodge. ESL (ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE) SCHEDULING CHANGE | 10/7
The ESL Ministry Team has announced that there will be a delay to the start of ESL classes. The new start date will be Thursday, October 7th at 7:00 pm.
