What We Believe
There is one God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; who subsists in unity and also in three separate distinct persons.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was born of a virgin as both God and man, lived a sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, arose from the grave, ascended into heaven and will literally return to earth.
The Holy Spirit lives in every believer and His work is to reveal Christ, convict of sin, lead to repentance, guide believers, comfort, strengthen and sanctify the soul.
The Bible was written by men inspired by God without any error and is the sole authority for life and faith.
All human beings are a special creation of God, made in His image, but that through the sin of the first man, Adam, mankind fell so that all are sinners and need salvation.
Salvation is a gift received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Every person who is truly saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ and will spend eternity in heaven, while those who die in their sins will spend eternity in hell.
Baptism is by immersion after salvation and is an act of obedience to Christ’s command.
The Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby believers remember the death of the Lord Jesus and anticipate His second coming.
The church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head and whose true mission is found in the Great Commission.
Each believer has direct access to God through Jesus Christ.
