Kingdom Prayer Focus
Lord, You are all-knowing and all-powerful, full of mercy and grace. You know us better than we know ourselves, and even though we don’t like it when we are humbled and tested, You tell us in Hebrews 12:11 tells us that “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” Help us to see all the challenges that we encounter as a gift from You, and to understand that if we trust You, no experience in our lives is wasted. Walk by our side as we carry out our commitment to You - even when it feels like we have no answer from You and we are not seeing results as quickly as we would like. Reveal to each one of us what true and lasting transformation looks like from Your perspective, and then convict us. And as we learn to trust and depend on You, don’t let us become complacent of the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives. We give You praise in Jesus’ name, amen.

WMU | 2/2
The Nannie Rose Tatham/WMU monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, February 2nd at 10:00 am in the Choir Suite Room LL-042. All are welcome!!! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about our specific mission efforts in different areas of the world, and meet new friends.
SENIOR BREAKFAST/FELLOWSHIP | 2/5
The McConnell Deacon Body would like to invite all senior citizens over 60 to their monthly breakfast fellowship next Sunday, February 5th, in the Family Life Center from 8:00 - 8:45 a.m. Come and have coffee and eat with friends!
ALZHEIMER’S & DEMENTIA SUPPORT GROUP | 2/7

FIRST STEPS/NEW MEMBERS CLASS | 2/12
If you are new to the church or want information on joining the church, please join Pastor Steve & Pastor Danny as they share information about McConnell’s vision. The class will be held on Feb 12th, at 11:45 a.m., in The Lodge immediately following the morning worship service. A light lunch will be served. This class is a prerequisite for joining the church. ARE YOU READY TO GROW & BE CHALLENGED?
Join us in a new ladies’ Bible study at the church beginning Wednesday, Feb 15th—May 17th from 9:45-11:45. This is a study of the Spiritual Disciplines with Richard Foster. You will need to order your own books ASAP so you can be prepared for the first class. SOUPS ON! MINISTRY NEWS
The Soups on! Ministry is happy to provide a blessing basket to anyone in our community. Please come and take one and share a blessing. There are beautiful Scripture cards to write a note or visit with them, and share what the Lord has done in your life. If you need someone to deliver for you, call or text Linda Herreid at (770) 598-5259 or just call the church office. Pray for the Lord to guide us to those who need His touch.
