Kingdom Prayer Focus
Lord, we thank you for being incredibly patient with us as we struggle to understand and focus on what matters most. Show us the motives of our hearts and help us to understand that winning should not be the end result - if we don’t include you in the process. We are devoted to so many things that distract us minute by minute. Open our eyes and show us that our hearts only need to be devoted to you, and everything else will fall into place. Then rid our hearts of any rival that is keeping you from first place. Lord, we know that you do not want any of us to perish, and that no one is beyond the reach of your mercy. So, hear our cries of repentance, and save us from total destruction and from this world of darkness. Strengthen our faith and use us to reach out to those who need you. For we know that this is not our war, it is yours. In Jesus name, Amen.

The McConnell Deacon Body would like to invite all senior citizens over 60 to their monthly breakfast fellowship next Sunday, February 5th, in the Family Life Center from 8:00 - 8:45 a.m. Come and have coffee and eat with friends!
HAL HARPER MEMORIAL SERVICE | 2/5
There will be a memorial service for Hal Harper on Sunday, February 5th at 2:00 pm in the Worship Center. Visitation for the family is at 1:00 p.m.
ALZHEIMER’S & DEMENTIA SUPPORT GROUP | 2/7

FIRST STEPS/NEW MEMBERS CLASS | 2/12
If you are new to the church or want information on joining the church, please joinPastor Steve & Pastor Danny as they share information about McConnell’s vision. The class will be held on Feb 12th, at 11:45 a.m., in The Lodge immediately following the morning worship service. A light lunch will be served. This class is a prerequisite forjoining the church. ARE YOU READY TO GROW & BE CHALLENGED?
Join us in a new ladies’ Bible study at the church beginning Wednesday, Feb 15th—May 17th from 9:45 am—11:45am. This is a study of the Spiritual Disciplines with Richard Foster. You will need to order your own books ASAP so you can be prepared for the first class. WKND 2023 FOR SUMMIT STUDENTS 2/17 - 2/19
Our Summit Students will gather from February 17—19 for WNKD 2023 (DNOW). Did you know even if you can’t be involved in The WKND by volunteering or by sending a student, you can still play an integral part in the spiritual success of this weekend? You can PRAY. Don’t underestimate your value as a prayer partner in this event. Pickup your prayer guide at the Welcome Desk or the church office.
