And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ. Phil 1:9

Kingdom Prayer Focus

Heavenly Father, we thank you for telling us in your word that you are always with us, even when there are times when we feel abandoned. We wait for you to answer our cries for help, and we can’t find You over the horizon of our troubles. Oh Lord, as our praises reach your throne be merciful to us! We have seen what you have done in the past and we have experienced your goodness. Your ways are eternal Lord, so we ask you to do it again…deliver us, save us! Give us that anchor to hold on to in times of trouble. Remind us of that anchor as we patiently wait for you, even when it seems there is no hope. And let us rejoice, knowing that our hope is Jesus, and only Jesus, who is the savior of the world. In His holy name, amen.

Please join us as we observe the Week of Prayer for International Missions, where Southern Baptists pray for IMB missionaries, their ministries and the unreached people and places they serve. Please pray & give generously during the month of December. Our 2021 goal is $33,000.

FIRST STEPS/NEW MEMBERS CLASS - 12/5
If you are new to the church or want information on joining the church, please join Pastor Steve & Pastor Danny as they share information about McConnell’s vision. The class will be held on December 5th, at 11:45 a.m., in The Lodge immediately following the morning worship service. A light lunch will be served. This class is a prerequisite for joining the church. Please call the church office to register at 706-896-2281 or sign up online by clicking here.

CHRISTMAS CANTATA - BETWEEN THE GIANTS - 12/12
Our story this year takes place in a coffee shop using modern day characters from the Christmas story. You can see them come to life as they celebrate Christmas and realize there's more to our Christian lives than just living between the giants of Christmas and Easter. Come and worship with us on Sunday, December 12 at 6:00 PM.

THRIVE MOMS | 12/14
Come spend time with other moms who can relate and support you! For the busy month of December, we will be meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 14th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm, in The Lodge. Opportunities to serve with Thrive: Have you been blessed with a few extra minutes and a desire to serve our community? Please consider pouring some of your time into our Thrive ministry! For more info text Calah Pearson (706) 599-9144 or email [email protected].
