Kingdom Prayer Focus

Father, we give you praise for freeing us from the burden of our slavery to sin. You have entrusted us with the power to choose – and we know that, spiritually, this is of the utmost importance! Help us to remember what you have done, and how you fought for us and kept your promises. Help us to stay true to the word, keeping it on our heart and mind, and to always be obedient. After we have tasted freedom, help us to stand firm so we are not burdened again by the yoke of slavery to sin. For we know that the enemy has the ability to attack us in so many subtle ways. Remind us to examine ourselves often, to look back at our journey with you, and to be careful that we are not confused with those who are worldly. Lord, we are desperate for you and we cling to you. We want to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth to those in this world who need you. Guide our steps in Jesus’ name, amen.

CHRISTMAS CANTATA - LOVE WAS BORN A KING | 12/18
When a mix-up on the church calendar puts a ministry to the homeless in the same place at the same time with the choir's dress rehearsal for their Christmas program, things get chaotic!  Love was Born a King poignantly and sensitively deals with the plight of the homeless, drawing on the responsibility of God's people to minister and care for those in need. And, in the course of helping others, we just might find ourselves being ministered to in the process! Join us on Sunday, December 18th at 6:00 p.m. and invite a friend!

Red Cross Blood Drive | 12/20
There will be a blood drive on Tuesday, December 20th from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm,  in the Family Life Center. There’s currently an urgent need for blood donors of all blood types.  Our annual Christmas blood drive helps ensure that blood products are readily available for patients in need at a time when the need is critical.  Please visit www.redcross.org to make an appointment to donate.
