Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization that has been active since 1970. Its mission is to help meet the needs of individuals who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine. The organization aims to demonstrate God's love and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through its humanitarian efforts.

McConnell Church has already participated in 2 rebuild trips in 2026, and there are 4 additional rebuild trips planned as well as 1 disaster relief trip. See below for further details.
