Jeremy Pearson has served on staff at McConnell Memorial Baptist Church since 2016, beginning as the church's Youth Pastor before transitioning into his current role as Executive Pastor. He is passionate about helping people find and follow Jesus by creating environments where individuals and families can connect, grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and make a difference in the lives of others. Jeremy works closely with the church staff and leadership team to provide vision, strategic direction, and oversight for the church's ministries and daily operations.
Jeremy's passion for ministry is deeply rooted in his own story of transformation. At 25 years old, after years of struggling with drug addiction, he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and experienced the life-changing grace and freedom that only Christ can provide. Not long after coming to faith, Jeremy sensed God's call to ministry and committed his life to helping others experience the same hope, healing, and purpose he had found in Christ. His testimony serves as a constant reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace and that Jesus can transform any life.
Jeremy and his wife, Calah, have four children: Andrew, Judah, Zeke, and Macy. As a family, they love spending time together, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, and making memories wherever life takes them. Having served the church and community for many years, Jeremy considers it a privilege to call McConnell home and is excited about what God has in store for the future.
