Grace Works is dedicated to serving those in need through hands-on home improvement services. Our teams of dedicated volunteers are committed to individuals
and families by providing assistance with tasks that they can no longer manage due to physical limitations or financial constraints. We believe that everyone deserves to live in a safe and comfortable home, and we are honored to play a role in making that a reality
for those we serve. Whether it's repairing a broken porch, clearing away overgrown landscaping, or tackling a simple handyman project, our volunteers are ready to lend a
helping hand. Our mission is not just about fixing homes; it’s about restoring hope and dignity to those we serve. By demonstrating the love of Christ through our actions, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

When is it okay to ask for help?

Why is it so hard to ask for help?
Many of us see needing help as a sign of weakness. We worry about being a burden or admitting failure. In a world that celebrates self-sufficiency, asking for help can feel uncomfortable.
But Scripture paints a different picture. In Acts 20:35, Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” When we allow others to help us, we give them an opportunity to live out their faith, show Christ’s love, and experience the joy of serving.
Receiving help is not weakness—it’s humility. It acknowledges that we were never meant to carry every burden alone. God designed us for community, where we support one another and share life’s challenges together.
