Andrew Rogers serves as the Youth & Young Adults Pastor at McConnell Church, where he is passionate about helping students find and follow Jesus. A native of North Georgia, Andrew grew up just minutes from McConnell and has been part of the church family since his teenage years. After graduating from Towns County High School, he earned a degree in Graphic Design from Young Harris College and later completed a master's degree in Christian leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Andrew has served in ministry in a variety of contexts, as an intern & assistant youth pastor at McConnell during high school & college, as a resident with North Point Ministries during his time in seminary and Southside Church in Peachtree City as their middle school groups director. He met his wife, Ashley while serving in Peachtree city. Together they returned to the mountains of North Georgia to invest in the next generation and serve the church that helped shape his faith.
Andrew and Ashley live in Young Harris with their daughter, Winona ("Winnie"). When he's not serving students and families, Andrew enjoys playing basketball, watching movies. finding any bookstore or thrift shop within 100 miles, reading fantasy & Sci-fi, & spending time with family.
