And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ. Phillipians 1:9

We are continuing to accept donations of individually wrapped candy. Look for the bins located in the FLC, Drive-thru Portico Lobby and the Office Lobby. This is for the Candy at the Fairgrounds community outreach on 10/31.

***AWANA NEWS FLASH***
PTL Your AWANA Club set an all-time attendance record at MMBC with 70 clubbers!! And counting the 27 incredible leaders, the FLC was “ALIVE”!!!!! But, with this many clubbers, we still have a need for additional leaders. If you are not currently serving in another position but understand the importance of reaching boys and girls for Christ, please consider giving AWANA a look! Call or text Tom Wade for additional information 478-285-0031.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes are available in the Welcome Center. Begin praying now for the child that God has chosen to receive your gifts. Crocheted caps, lovingly made by ladies in the church, will also be available for inclusion in your shoebox, if you wish. Please remember to mail the $9 per shoebox to Samaritan’s Purse, using the enclosed envelope or make a donation online.  All shoeboxes must be returned to the church by Sunday, November 14th.  You can also “build a box” online at www.samaritanspurse.orgIf you choose this option, please let the church office know how many you sent so we can include in our total.

Men of all ages are invited to come to our McConnell Men’s ministry Sunday night at 6:00 p.m.  Facilitated by Pastor Steve Awtrey, this group meets monthly in the Lodge with dinner provided. We will continue The Chosen series followed by group discussion. This is a great outreach event, so invite someone to come with you!

Kingdom Prayer Focus

Father God, thank you for making known to us the path of life and for filling us with the joy of your presence. Continue to open the eyes of our hearts to remind us of the hope to which you called us and the riches of your glorious inheritance in us. You created each one of us to be different, so that each of us can make a difference in the places you call us to. Oh Lord, that we may produce much fruit so our joy may be complete! And, if we’re not, help us to examine ourselves and discover the gift you gave us to use for your glory. Help us to use that gift well to serve one another, to become a servant – like you. Remind us that serving others IS serving you! For how we serve, is how we worship. You tell us in your word to call to you and that you will answer. Help us to make a difference, in Jesus name, amen.
