Kingdom Prayer Focus

Adonai, right now the angels in Your throne room are crying out holy, holy, holy, for that is what You are. You tell us that is what we are because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross. So, we ask for Your forgiveness when our behavior demonstrates the opposite - because we are a people of unclean lips. Teach us to honor You with our words and glorify You with every ounce of our being. Touch our hearts with the burning coal of Your Holy Spirit and cleanse us so we can do Your work unencumbered by the sin that so easily hinders us. Remind us in our complacency that we still have a job to do, even when we don’t feel like it! Give us Your Holy Spirit power to stop the fear that is paralyzing us. Let us bring our requests to You, and not to be anxious in doing so. Then give us the confidence to say, “Here am I, send me”, and totally trust You with the process. You are our Master, if You want us to go - then we will, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
Shoeboxes are still available in the Welcome Center area for you to take and fill for that very special child who will receive your gifts. Begin praying now for that child! Filled shoeboxes must be returned to the church by Sunday, November 13th so they can begin their journey! You can also Build a Shoebox online at https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/buildonline/. This year to cover costs for collection, processing & shipping to over 100 countries, a $10 donation per shoebox is requested. In addition, McConnell Church will also serve as a regional drop off center for Samaritan’s Purse from November 14th through November 21st. Last year, we received and packed 1500 shoeboxes during this week! If you would like to serve in this ministry, contact Cheryl Peebles at [email protected] or call the church office at 706-896-2281.

Come spend time with other moms who can relate and support you! We meet on the third Tuesday of each month during the school year, 6:00-7:30 pm, in The Lodge. Dinner will be served. To RSVP, text "thrive" to 706-995-7515. For more info call or text Calah Pearson at (706) 599-9144 or email [email protected]
