Sympathy

Kingdom Prayer Focus

Father, we give you thanks for creating us in Your Image. We also thank you for your offer of eternal life through your son Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit that lives in us. As we strive daily to seek you with all our hearts, our desire is to know you, and to walk with you. Yet, in this journey we all fail miserably! We ask that you show us how to reflect your perfect love to those around us. For, “Holy, there is no one like you, there is none beside you. Open up our eyes in wonder. Show us who You are and fill us with your heart. And lead us in Your love to those around us.” Then Lord, when we look in the mirror each morning, show us that the reflection in the mirror is You. All glory to you in Jesus mighty name, amen.

CHRISTMAS CANTATA - LOVE WAS BORN A KING | 12/18
When a mix-up on the church calendar puts a ministry to the homeless in the same place at the same time with the choir's dress rehearsal for their Christmas program, things get chaotic!  Love was Born a King poignantly and sensitively deals with the plight of the homeless, drawing on the responsibility of God's people to minister and care for those in need. And, in the course of helping others, we just might find ourselves being ministered to in the process!

Red Cross Blood Drive | 12/20
There will be a blood drive on Tuesday, December 20th from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm,  in the Family Life Center. There’s currently an urgent need for blood donors of all blood types.  Our annual Christmas blood drive helps ensure that blood products are readily available for patients in need at a time when the need is critical.  Please visit www.redcross.org to make an appointment to donate.
