The Awana Clubs are seeking donations of new or gently used items for the Awana Christmas Store in mid-December. Men’s items will be especially helpful! Clubbers have earned Awana Bucks to be able to shop for gifts for their parents, grandparents & siblings for Christmas. Collection bins are located in the FLC foyer, the Hope Lobby and the church office during the month of November.

The 2022 Proposed Budget will be emailed to those with email addresses on file on November 18th. There will also be some copies available at the Welcome Desk on and in the church office during the week. The 2022 Proposed Budget discussions will be on Wednesday, December 1st, private discussion at 5:30 pm in the Esther Sunday School Classroom and public discussion at 6 pm in the Worship Center. The vote to approve the 2022 proposed budget will take place Sunday, December 5th, following the morning service.

The Church Office will close at noon on Wednesday November 24th. There will be NO evening services on that day. We will also close on Thursday & Friday (25th & 26th) for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We are thankful for YOU!

Prepare your hearts and join us on Sunday, November 28th for communion in-person or at home. A special offering for our GraceWorks Ministry will be taken at the end of the service for Towns County residents in-need.

Lottie Moon Week of Prayer | 11/28 thru 12/5
Every day, 155,473 people enter eternity without the hope of Jesus. Please join us as we observe the Week of Prayer for International Missions, where Southern Baptists pray for IMB missionaries, their ministries and the unreached people and places they serve. Please pray & give generously during the month of December. Our 2021 goal is $33,000.

If you are new to the church or want information on joining the church, please join Pastor Steve & Pastor Danny as they share information about McConnell’s vision. The class will be held on December 5th, in The Lodge immediately following the morning worship service. A light lunch will be served. This class is a prerequisite for joining the church. Please call the church office to register at 706-896-2281 or sign up online by clicking here.

Kingdom Prayer Focus

Father, we know that you are a good and loving God, and that you are in control of everything. We place our complete trust in you and in your word. Please forgive us when we voice our complaints and question your judgment. Like Habakkuk, we see evil deeds, destruction and violence, and we are surrounded by people who love to argue and fight. The law has become paralyzed and there is no justice in the courts. The wicked outnumber us! There are days we feel like you really don’t seem to care. We don’t understand and we cry out to you asking WHY? Give us the strength to keep wrestling, to keep asking honest questions and to keep holding on to hope. For hope’s name is Jesus! And it is in His Holy name that we pray, amen.
