Kingdom Prayer Focus
Lord, we thank you that you have shown us the mystery from which true godliness springs! Remind us to live our whole life focused on becoming more Christlike by going back to the source where we first found it, in Jesus Christ. We ask that you help each one of us to look deep inside to find what is keeping us from the great gain of godliness and contentment. Help us to see that our longing to be rich may pull us into temptation and into many foolish and harmful desires that can plunge us into ruin and destruction. Show us how to train ourselves wisely so we can find contentment that is Shalom; the state of being satisfied in you, and once we find it, show us how to hang on to it and to fight for it! In Jesus’ name, amen.
Since last pmt.
