MMBC PRESCHOOL GRADUATION | TONIGHT
All year, four-year-olds from our community have been learning and growing in our weekday pre-school. Now it is time for them to graduate and prepare to move to kindergarten in the fall! All of our McConnell family is invited to join us tonight at 6:00 pm in the Worship Center to attend their commencement service. It is truly a delight to see these little ones, and have the opportunity to share this important milestone with our community, parents, and families.

HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR GRADUATION RECOGNITION | 5/15
McConnell will recognize our high school graduates during the morning Worship service on 5/15.

LORD’S SUPPER & BENEVOLENCE OFFERING | 5/15
The Lord’s Supper will be observed in the Sunday morning worship service. After the service we will be collecting an offering for our Benevolence Ministry. 100% of these funds go to help Towns County residents in need.

DEACON RECOMMENDATIONS STARTS | 5/16
McConnell Church members - It’s time to begin prayerfully considering your recommendations for the office of deacon for the coming year. Our deacons serve for terms of three years after having been nominated and elected by the church. Nominees must be a McConnell church member for at least one year and meet the biblical requirements for serving. Beginning Sunday, paper recommendation forms will be available in the Welcome Center or, if you prefer, you can make your recommendations online on the church website. The deadline to make a recommendation is Sunday, June 19th.

VBS REGISTRATION

AWANA BANQUET | 5/19
In addition to their regular school work, kids in our community have been busy memorizing scripture at the Awana Clubs. They, along with their Awana leaders & volunteers, will be recognized at the annual Awana Banquet on Thursday, May 19th at 5:30 pm in the Family Life Center. This is a fun time of celebration for the entire family with the kids sharing what they have learned this year, the presentation of book awards and a special meal for the families!

PARENT CHILD DEDICATION | 5/22 or 6/19
Parent Child Dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. The dedication service provides you, the parent(s), an opportunity to express publicly your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child in partnership with the church, so your child will develop a desire to love and serve God. With the pandemic, we have missed having this dedication so we have scheduled two opportunities: Sunday, May 22nd or Sunday, June 19th.
