Kingdom Prayer Focus
Dear Lord, thank you for asking us to be humble, to hold things loosely and to go the extra mile. It is a challenge for us to be insulted for Christ’s sake, but we know that violence is born of weakness, not strength. We ask that you give us all the strength to start afresh, to overlook and overcome the struggles and obstacles that face us each day in different circumstances. It’s also a challenge to let go of things we own. Show us how to be generous with the blessings you’ve given us. Finally, you ask us to go the extra mile... Please help us to be patient with those around us and give us the courage to realize that it takes some time to begin relationships. God, we ask that you give us the humility required to seek your counsel and represent you well in all of these situations! Let us examine ourselves and come to an understanding that it is ultimately the sin of pride that keeps us from seeing others through your eyes. Jesus, we need you every day and every moment, in your holy name, Amen.

ANNIE ARMSTRONG WEEK OF PRAYER & EASTER OFFERING
The Annie Armstrong Week of Prayer is March 5th thru March 12th. Prayer guides will be available at the Welcome Desk soon. Your prayers and gifts to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering® provide support for more than 5,000 missionaries. Special Annie Armstrong offering envelopes will be available in the pew pockets thru April 9th. Our 2023 goal is $25,000.
MCCONNELL PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION FOR 2023-24
Preschool registration for the 2023/24 school year has begun and runs thru 3/17 at 8:00 a.m. daily, for church members and current enrollees. Registration will be open to the public starting Monday, 3/20 thru 3/31, at 8:30 a.m. daily. Call Emily Winn, Preschool Director for more info at 706-896-2281.
KID MINISTRY TRAINING | 3/11
On Saturday, March 11th, from 9 am until 12 noon, we will have our second annual Global KidMin Volunteer Training Day! This event is for all those who serve in our PEAK Kids ministry or anyone who might be interested in serving. We will also have some tasty food, lots of coffee and give away some gift cards. You don’t want to miss this incredible time of fun, food and fellowship, so make sure you are here on Saturday, March 11th!
VBS MEETING | 3/19
Calling all VBS volunteers! VBS 2023 is June 19th - 23rd. If you have already committed to serve, or are interested in serving at VBS 2023, come to a short informational meeting on Sunday 3/19 immediately following the worship service in the Children’s dept. AWANA GRAND PRIX | 3/19
All parents, grandparents, kids, and interested spectators are invited to the Awana Grand Prix on Sunday, March 19th at 4:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. The leaders will have a cook off so come enjoy this and cheer the racers on!
