The Hammond family, at the death of Ann Hammond,
Kingdom Prayer Focus
Lord God, we thank you for the invitation to your party with the offer of a place at your table! Thank you that you love us enough to ask for a response to that invitation. We know that you have forgiven so many of us when we made excuses, or set the invitation aside until we felt ready or “worthy” to be your guest. But, you extended patience with us as we grappled with our decision. You said, Come Thirsty, Come Hungry, Come as You Are. Then your Holy Spirit drew us as we responded to that invite with a resounding YES! Help us now to minister to those around us who are setting aside your invitation. May they find the same faith and trust that we did as your Holy Spirit works to help them on their journey. In Jesus’ holy name, amen.
