Sympathy

Kingdom Prayer Focus

Heavenly father, we thank you for watching over us, and for giving us everything we need in your Word and through the Holy Spirit to understand the unseen realm. We need your daily strength to stop letting the enemy seduce us into conformity with the world. We are in a daily battle for control of our minds, and we ask for your help to control our thinking so we can be a transformer and an overcomer. Remind us that we must give you our minds! Keep us from listening to, and chasing the idols of this world, and show us that surrender is the FIRST step, not the last. Only then we will witness the spiritual process of transformation in our lives! Thank you for being jealous for us. We need you…in Christ’s name, amen.

Reminders/Announcements

There will be a VBS Workday on Saturday, June 18th at 10:00 a.m. in the FLC and preschool. We will also need help setting up tables on Sunday June 19th after the morning worship service. Call the church office for more details.

DEACON RECOMMENDATIONS
McConnell Church members - please remember to prayerfully consider your recommendations for the office of deacon for the coming year. Our deacons serve for terms of three years after having been nominated and elected by the church. Nominees must be a McConnell church member for at least one year and meet the biblical requirements for serving. Paper recommendation forms will be available in the Welcome Center or, if you prefer, you can make your recommendations online on the church website. The deadline to make a recommendation is June 19th.
