Shelley Sanderson, at the death of her grandmother.

Kingdom Prayer Focus

Oh God, you are holy, you are mighty, and you are merciful! Your demands for the payment of sin are great, but your mercy is greater. In your perfect holiness, you demand death as payment for our sin. You also demand the shedding of blood, and that blood must be perfect and sinless. Who of us is worthy? But in your mercy, you sent Jesus to pay for that sin through his death on the cross where he shed his perfect, sinless blood to pay a debt He did not owe, but we did. How amazing is your grace, that you care enough for the lowliest of men, to die for our sins! For that we thank you and praise you, and in your resurrection, we rejoice! For without the resurrection, we have nothing, and it is your resurrection that gives us hope for the future. In Jesus name, amen.
