Kingdom Prayer Focus
Father God, we thank you for giving us the opportunity to know you, and that you want to be known by us. Although some of us know about you and are impressed by you, we are not persuaded to commit to you. How can it be? How is it that we know of your goodness, yet we reject you? We refuse to experience the fullness of your salvation or share it with others? Are we so familiar with you that we have contempt for your holiness? Lord forgive our spiritual blindness and open our eyes so we may see our own shallowness and ignorance to the truth! Help us to see ourselves as we really are and to repent with a broken spirit and a contrite heart before your throne. Only then will your door open to our open hearts and we will see you as you truly are! In the holy and sacred name of Jesus, amen.
