Sympathy

Kingdom Prayer Focus

Lord God, we are grateful that by your grace we work hard for your glory. Ministry is time consuming and can be so draining on our souls and spirits. Help us to remember that we have an enemy who creates illusions to distract us from what really matters. Keep us ever mindful of the seduction of comfort…for the easy way is what we tend to choose. We are also grateful for the process – even when it’s hard. There are times when we want to throw in the towel and give up on our ministries when we don’t see results right away. Ultimately, we want to pursue your purpose instead of pursuing our own selfish passion. For we know that only your purpose is what helps us to feel passionate about ordinary things. In Jesus name, amen.

Reminders/Announcements

Financial News
The company which provides our offering envelopes has notified us of a production delay which impacts our ability to provide the envelopes to you in early January. At this time, the earliest estimated arrival is mid-to-late January. Once we receive these, they will be placed on tables in the Welcome Center for pick up. There are My Offering envelopes in the pew pockets which can be used until you receive your envelopes.

HOPE ROOM NEWS
The Hope Room is not accepting donations at this time. We will be processing all your recently donated items in order to start getting ready for Spring. We are still open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays so our community can stock up on warm winter clothing. We are so thankful for the generosity of our church members!
