Kingdom Prayer Focus

Heavenly Father, we are thankful for interruptions in our lives that, in the past, have kept us out of trouble. In hindsight, we can see these were opportunities for blessing where You taught us to believe You, trust You, and step out on faith while relying wholly on You. So, why is it that we are so afraid of your plans? Why do we feel that your interruptions are inconvenient? Lord, teach us that even though Your purposes are different from our plans, you can help us to surrender in a way that proves you are a way-maker! You can make a way where we cannot see a way. So, help us to stop playing it safe, stop our never-ending faith in the what-ifs, and remind us to look for invitations from you each day. For we know that we can’t please you without faith in your son Jesus Christ. In his Holy name, amen.
