Kingdom Prayer Focus

Lord we lift our families, our church, and our nation up before your throne. See us, hear us, and guide us into your presence. We need you now more than ever as we plead for your guidance in our daily walk. Lead us down the path of righteousness that brings us back to you! Keep us from the distractions and noise that pull us away from your still small voice. Keep us rooted in Your Word and wrapped up in your loving arms. Shower us with new mercies each morning and walk beside us throughout our day. Give us the wisdom we need to make the best choices and fill our hearts with a strong desire to worship you above all things, especially as distractions tend to take our eyes off you. Fill our hearts and souls with the peace that only comes from you and keep our hearts clean that we might not sin against you in the process, in Jesus Mighty name, amen.

Reminders/Announcements

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX NEWS
McConnell packed 489 shoeboxes with an additional 82 done online for a total of 571 shoeboxes!  This surpassed our goal of 500 shoeboxes. McConnell also served as a Samaritan’s Purse Drop Off location, from November 14th through November 21st, and this year we received 1,715 shoeboxes, the most we have ever processed! The drop off center was staffed by 14 volunteers who donated a total of 102.5 hours during this week. The shoeboxes have been delivered to the regional collection center in Mineral Bluff and will go from there to one of the major distribution centers. Thank you for allowing our church to be a part of the journey!

CHRISTMAS CANTATA - LOVE WAS BORN A KING | 12/18
When a mix-up on the church calendar puts a ministry to the homeless in the same place at the same time with the choir's dress rehearsal for their Christmas program, things get chaotic!  Love was Born a King poignantly and sensitively deals with the plight of the homeless, drawing on the responsibility of God's people to minister and care for those in need. And, in the course of helping others, we just might find ourselves being ministered to in the process! Join us at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 18 in the Worship Center. Invite your friends and neighbors!

Red Cross Blood Drive | 12/20
There will be a blood drive on Tuesday, December 20th from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm,  in the Family Life Center. There’s currently an urgent need for blood donors of all blood types.  Our annual Christmas blood drive helps ensure that blood products are readily available for patients in need at a time when the need is critical.  Please visit www.redcross.org to make an appointment to donate.

CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE | 12/24
Join us in the Worship Center on Christmas Eve at 6:00 pm for a special candlelight service and observance of the Lord’s Supper. A benevolence offering will be taken. Nursery provided for birth to 2 years old only.

CHRISTMAS DAY - HOME FOR CHRISTMAS | 12/25
Join us online only for our special Home for Christmas morning worship service. This service will be broadcast at our usual time, 10:15 am, on both Facebook & You Tube. There will be NO services at the church on Christmas day. Enjoy being home with your family & loved ones.
