Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.Proverbs 19: 20-21

Sympathy

Kingdom Prayer Focus

Father, we are thankful that you gave us one another to love, honor and serve. We ask that you show us the areas in our lives that we struggle with unforgiveness and bitterness. If our actions have wounded others, show us or how to make amends. Help us to surround ourselves with positive encouragers who will hold us accountable and who will speak the truth in love. Lord, root out the darkness and light up our lives with Your holy presence. Fill our soul with joy and peace that surpasses all understanding. You created us in Your own image, Lord. You know our thoughts before we speak them. You examine our hearts and see through our excuses and intentions. So today we are confessing our desperate need for You. But we need Your help. Just as You created the world out of nothing, Lord, create a clean heart out of our “nothingness.” May your restoration include new boundaries around our lives. With Your restoration, Lord, perhaps we can help others find their way back to You again. Thank You, Jesus, for Your sweet forgiveness and promised restoration. Amen.
