LORD’S SUPPER & BENEVOLENCE OFFERING | 8/8
Prepare your hearts and join us this Sunday during the morning Worship service for communion in-person, or at home. A special benevolence offering will be taken at the end of the service for Towns County residents in-need.

FIRST STEPS/NEW MEMBERS CLASS - 8/8
If you are new to the church or want information on joining the church, please join Pastor Danny as he shares information about McConnell’s vision. The class will be held on August 8th, at 11:45 a.m., in The Lodge immediately following the morning worship service. A light lunch will be served. This class is a prerequisite for joining the church. YHC MINISTRY - LAUNDRY POD COLLECTION
Young Harris College is back in session on August 16th. One of the things that the students have enjoyed each year, is the gift of HE laundry pods from their friends at McConnell! If you would like to donate laundry pods, look for the laundry basket donation bins in the drive thru lobby, the welcome desk area and in the church office through August 15th.

WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE | 8/9 & 8/10
Our Weekday Preschool begins the 2021-2022 school year on August 12th. There will be an Open House on Monday, August 9th for 4-year-olds, from 9 -10:30 am and 3-year-olds, from 10:30 am - 12 pm. Also on Tuesday August 10th, for 2-year-olds from, 9:00 am -11 am. Drop in anytime during the hours listed.

AWANA CLUBS NEWS | 8/16
Attention Parents! AWANA CLUB meetings resume Aug. 16th in the FLC from 3:15 to 5:15 pm on Mondays. Please consider enrolling your K-8th grade children. They will be picked up at TCES after school and brought to the MMBC, or you can drop them off yourself. This will be an action packed 2 hours! Your child will memorize scripture, have a short devotional, and participate in exciting games. A light snack will be provided.
