Kingdom Prayer Focus

Father, we are grateful that You are in control of all things. You guide us with Your gentle whispers as You watch over our comings and goings. You tell us not to worry about tomorrow, but we cannot make it through a day without finding ourselves doing exactly that. We reveal our lack of faith and trust in You when we allow worry to run the show and then we end up in a place You never intended for us to be. And as we run for our lives when the next bad thing happens, give us the wisdom we need to trust You for the “now”. Forgive us for our stubbornness in giving up control to You. Teach us to hand over the wheel and become a passenger who allows You to drive the vehicle of our lives. Help us to remember how You fought for us in past battles and remind us that You will be there to get us through the next one. For You were in our yesterday and You will be in our tomorrow too! In the name of Jesus, amen.
