Kingdom Prayer Focus

Lord God, we praise you for your son Jesus Christ who was the Crucified One and who now lives as the Risen One! You tell us in your Word that he is the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep and that is where we find our hope. You also tell us that in Christ all will be made alive. So, let us take this hope and GO! Use us to make disciples as we go, loving one another, and teaching how to be your apprentice by our actions. Then remind us that this doesn’t happen overnight, but it is a lifelong process of being transformed into the image of Jesus. Keep us looking outward so we know where we are going. Keep us looking inward to see how we are growing. Finally, keep us looking upward with resurrection perspective and power. In Jesus’ holy name, amen.
