Kingdom Prayer Focus

Father, we are Your children, and You know it can be difficult for us to always maintain our trust in You. Show us how our worry is like prayer in reverse, and how it distances us from You. It does not bring us clarity, add anything valuable, or solve anything important. Draw us aside, into that secret place where no one but You can see and teach our hearts how to seek You first. Bring us to a place of obedience where we do our part, while trusting You to do Yours. If we trust You with shelter, food, and clothing, why can’t we trust You with everything else? Convict our spirits when worry dominates our thoughts and reflects that our greatest devotion is something other than You. Remind us daily to redirect our devotion back to You. Teach us to make the choice to demonstrate our faith by seeking Your agenda and then giving You the glory for it! Not of ourselves lest we should boast. In Jesus name, amen.
