Kingdom Prayer Focus

Lord God, we thank you for your presence in our lives and that your nature and your desire is to have relationship with us. As we examine ourselves, we understand that our sin nature and your holiness is what has always created that distance between us. But you told us that you would be with us, that you would never leave us and that you would be IN US! You also told us that your Spirit and your power rest upon us even in life’s most difficult circumstances. So, forgive us when we allow things of this world to distract us, and we allow our connection to you to be broken. Oh Lord, fill the temple of our hearts and remind us that only through the mediation of Jesus will the offering of our spiritual sacrifices be pleasing to you. In the holy name of Jesus, amen.
