Helping the elderly and shut-in members in need of Home Repairs and Maintenance.
Contact church office for assistance.
The Senior Adults at McConnell are active, involved and provide leadership in all of our church family ministries. Our Sonshiners Bible Study meets each Tuesday at noon, to study God’s word in the Family Life Center, Room 219. In addition to the study, they regularly schedule trips to see the country and world.
Our Sunday School program helps members grow in their faith while bonding with a supportive and caring group of believers. Classes meet each Sunday from 9:00 to 10:00 and are led by experienced teachers. Most use curriculum provided by Lifeway (the Baptist publishing agency) and are grouped according to age, though a few classes are special interest. Members and others interested are urged to find a class that is a good fit and get involved. To find out more about class options, call the church office (706-896-2281) or stop by the Welcome Center on Sunday Morning.
